MANILA, Philippines — Over P11 million worth of illegal drugs were seized during a string of police operations conducted in Central Visayas from October 6 to 12, according to the Police Regional Office 7 (PRO 7).
In a report on Wednesday, police said they arrested 515 suspects for various offenses.
Broken down, PRO7 said that 168 drug personalities yielded 1,639.05 grams of illegal drugs with a standard drug price of P11,145,540, along with other drug paraphernalia.
Article continues after this advertisementMeanwhile, 197 individuals were apprehended for illegal gambling, which resulted in the confiscation of P20,734 and various gambling paraphernalia.
